CSA 50th Anniversary Convention & Annual Meeting
Lavish celebration was a grand success!
Last September, CSA celebrated their golden anniversary with a fabulous event at the Claremont Resort & Spa in Berkeley, CA. The commemoration of the past 50 years coincided with the excitement for our next 50. In case you missed it, here are some highlights:
• The Convention Golf Tournament at Tilden Park Golf Course was won by Mike Avery, Randy Crossno (both from Denco Sales Company), Steve Jones (YESCO) and John Lewis (Direct Sign Wholesale). For the complete list of winners and the details on the tournament, click here.
• 2010 Membership Directory Cover Design Winner is Lia Lackey (Bill Moore & Associates)! Congratulations! Click here to see the winning design.
• 2009-10 Board of Directors & Officers Sworn in at the 50th Annual Awards Banquet & Gala. Click here to see the new list.
• Newly Appointed Directors Emeriti Terry Long (Ad Art Sign Company) & Jeff Tanielian (Commercial Neon) recognized at the Gala for their respective 20 years of service on the CSA Board.
• The $10,000 Drawing Winners were the PC Team at Signtech USA (San Diego, CA). Cheryl Strukelj was present at the Gala to receive the accolades. Other winners of the smaller cash prizes are: Ray Smith (Federal Heath Sign Company), $250; Randy Crossno (Denco Sales Company), $250; the Signtech PC Team (yes, they won twice!), $500; and a table ticket of Jeff & Susan Tanielian (Commercial Neon), Gary & Joanne Quiel (Quiel Bros Sign Company), Jeff & Cairn Aran and Bob & Natalie Aran, $500.
